CHINA 2009 WORLD STAMP EXHIBITION

Mr. Tay Peng Hian RDP, FIP consultant for China 2009 World Stamp Exhibition, to be held in Luoyang city, Henan Province from April 10 - 16, 2009, signed the FIP contract with Mr. Tan Xiao Wei, Vice President of All China Philatelic Federation on December 18, 2007 in Beijing, China.

THE FIAP JURY PIN

The FIAP Jury Pin was first given away to the FIAP Jury served at BANGKOK 2007. This is a kind gesture from the FIAP Executive Committee in recognition of the status and achievement of the FIAP accredited Jury.

It would be more significant if the FIAP Jury could display the FIAP Jury Pin on their jacket, perhaps during the judging session, at FIAP exhibitions.

The FIAP Jury Pin will further be distributed to other Jury at TAIPEI 2008 and JAKARTA 2008. The Pins were kindly donated be Chinese Taipei Philatelic Federations.

GOODBYE AND WELCOME...

Mrs. Marie-Louise Heiri, FIP Secretary General, will retire from FIP in end March 2008 after 22 years of service.  On April 01, 2008, Mrs. Andree Trommer-Schiltz from Luxembourg will take over the office from Mrs. Heiri.

We wish Mrs. Trommer-Schiltz a lot of success fro the future and thank Mrs. Heiri for the work she did in these 22 years. she will always be remembered by the FIAP members.

 The 13^th GCC Stamp Exhibition was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from 11 to 15 November 2007 at Sultan Mall Commercial Center in Dhual –Qa’dah under FIAP patronage.

2007 TAIPEI STAMP EXHIBITION

2007 Taipei Stamp Exhibition was held from December 26 to 30, 2007, On display were 250 frames of exhibits coming from all Taiwan.

HONG KONG STAMPEX 2008

The Hong Kong Stampex 2008 was held in the Chinese YWCA Conference Centre during February 15 to 17, 2008. Singapore Patrick Choy's new exhibit "Postage Paid Handstamps of the China Silver Yuan Era" was among the 18 exhibits including 10 five frames, 3 Literature and 5 one frame presented to the Jury.
